I'll be home for Christmas

Well, I only have one more week until I am back with my fam and dear
friends. I am so, I guess the word would be, nuts. :) I can't wait
to see everyone, hug and kiss my niece, and hear my sister say,
"Whatcha' doin" When you live so far away, you realize that what you
miss most are the little everyday moments. So, I hope they are a ton
of little moments interspersed with celebrating the birth of our
Savior. Has anyone seen the move "The Nativity Story" - it looks very
interesting. Write me or call!

So Nervous . . .

Well, this is it folks. The last time I do Uncle Phil's Diner. I was up until 2 this morning watching a horrible movie, and I promised myself I would sleep until 10, so that I would be well rested for today and able to strike everything tonight, clean the church, and not leave the school looking like a disaster area for Monday. Needless to say, I was awake at 8 and already feeling nervous.

I don't know why - we had an incredible night on Thursday. The cast was on fire - never perfect, but no show ever is. They had fun, which was the important thing and the audience loved it, which is the other important thing. In both areas, God was in control and blessing. I pray He does the same thing tonight.

I really will try and take pictures tonight :) I'd like to get a camera that takes a little nicer pictures, mine are all coming out blurry for some reason. There is probably something I could be doing better, too. :(

Anyway, hasta luego!

Uncle Phil's Diner

Well, the show is up and running! Opening night was last night and I am exhausted today. We didn't have school, today, which turns out to be a bigger blessing than I could have imagined. We perform again on saturday and then will spend most of the evening (from 9:00 on) tearing down the set and giving Trinity Union Church back its building. Sorry I don't have pictures. I took my camera yesterday, but I had so many people yelling for Miss Barlow, that I didn't have time to take more than a couple shots of kids getting ready. Anyway, this show is crazy and very interactive :) And I was enjoying every minute of watching it!

I wish you could be here to see it. These guys are excellent. Thanks for all your prayers - God has been incredibly good to us.
